Toc Toc Dance Template

How the toc toc dance template works, what stays fixed in the clip, and why one prepared template beats writing a video prompt from scratch.

What a toc toc dance template is

A toc toc dance template is a finished clip with one replaceable performer. The room, the floor, the camera move, the dance step and the audio are already locked in the template. Your job is to supply a single photo of the face that should take over the performance.

That is the difference between a template and a prompt. A prompt describes a scene in words and leaves the result to the model's interpretation. A template ships the scene as a real clip, so the model copies the movement instead of inventing it. The instructions that remain are short and specific: replace this one dancer, keep the room, keep the timing.

What the template keeps fixed

The prepared clip carries all of the following:

  • The bright home interior, the carpeted floor and the white panel doors
  • The camera move and the framing of the room
  • The single continuous take, with no cuts or transitions
  • The leg lift, the arm position and the bounce on the beat
  • The timing of every movement across the clip
  • The original audio track

Because those are fixed, the result is repeatable. Render the same clip for five different photos and each one lands on the same beat in the same room.

What the template replaces

The template swaps exactly one dancer. That dancer's face, hair and outfit are replaced by the photo you upload. Nothing else changes. The room does not follow your photo, and neither does the lighting, because the upload's background and framing are explicitly excluded from the result.

Why one upload is enough

The original dancer is a single person in the centre of the frame, so the model only needs one identity to bind to. That is why the generator asks for one clear photo and refuses to accept two people in a single upload. One person in frame keeps the swap unambiguous.

Choosing a photo for the template

Use a recent, front-facing photo with even lighting. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, and anything that covers the face. The pose and the timing come from the template, so you never need to match the original dancer's stance.

9:16 by default, other ratios on request

The template is a portrait clip, so the native output is 9:16 and it drops straight into Reels, Shorts and TikTok. If the clip needs a different home, the generator can render 4:5, 16:9 or 1:1 instead. The ratio controls the output canvas while the template stays the motion reference.

Ready to use the template

Upload one photo, keep the template, and generate the clip. If you would rather see the whole workflow first, the toc toc dance AI generator page covers it step by step.
